Values clarification is like an ab workout, core workout. Everyone has seen videos of how hard it is to push someone over who has engaged and solid core muscles. They are able to approach life from a solid foundation. They are rooted. It is the same when you know and are aligned with your core values. You walk into life solid.

What are values? Values are expressions of what you consider most important. They are principles, concepts, images, ideas of what guides everything else in your life. A quick way to find your values is to ask: what is it that you desire most in life? Values and desires are closely linked. What is it that you want most? What is it that you want to leave behind? Those are the navigating principles in your life: your core values.

So in your work with me we start and end with identifying your values. We start with key questions and exercises: what is your deepest desire? I provide you exercises we work through. You discover- is there congruence between your work, actions, relationships and what you want most? And if there is not congruence - rest assured - the strength you will gain from identifying your desires and values is a firm core to make the changes you need.
