Why is it called: Why Be Kind?
The business is called Why Be Kind - because I don't know why you want to be kind. Or what it means for you to be kind. But, I provide you an opportunity as a leadership coach to determine how to live out your best version of yourself.

The business is called Why Be Kind to describe what happens in coaching. In leadership coaching with me you identify your most important values. And you get the opportunity to define how you want to live and work to give the best expression of those values.
I was a tech executive for decades leading teams in North America, Asia and Europe - starting at 6am with European customers and ending at 10pm with my leadership team in Singapore. I know what it is like to be so busy that you don't have time to review your life and assure that you are accomplishing what you consider to be of highest value. Stated differently I know what its like to be too busy to have time to assure myself my work, personal life and choices are aligned with my values. That uncertainty, that potential disconnection between heart and action can rob us of a sense of peace, strength and power to live and lead effectively.
So in the work I do with you we start with values clarification. You identify gaps between your values and your actions. You look at any discrepancy between them. And, as a result of that review you set goals to reinforce, modify and accomplish congruence in your life.
The image of San Francisco reminds us that the light of our values and person can be partially hidden by the busyness of our business lives. Yet, it is there to discover if we take time to look.
