I define resilience as the ability to adapt and bounce back from adversity, challenges, or difficult situations. It involves maintaining mental toughness, emotional stability, and the capacity to recover quickly from setbacks. Resilient individuals often demonstrate flexibility, resourcefulness, and a positive outlook, enabling them to navigate stress and hardship effectively.

Part of what you can expect to gain from coaching with me is an ability to become more resilient and less reactive. Because you know yourself, and tend to yourself, you are less likely to need to care for yourself while listening to others. You will be present to be able to truly listen to others. You will be able to keep your center in conflict. And, develop sound next steps after setbacks.

A recent study found a high correlation between successful leaders and a history of having played in competitive sports. Specifically it found that high income female leaders played competitive sports. Competitive sports hone the desire to win and the strength to recover after losses. Sports creates resiliency, focus and teamwork.

From https://www.fastcompany.com/91194420/women-who-played-sports-are-more-likely-to-be-business-leaders "A 2023 Deloitte survey found that 69% of women who earn more than $100,000 per year and are in leadership roles played competitive sports—and 85% of women who played sports say the skills they developed playing sports were important to success in their professional careers."
